Amy Nguyen – President

Amy Nguyen is the President of Dragonberry Produce Inc., an international trading company for agricultural production for domestic and foreign markets located in Canby, Oregon.

In 2004, Amy founded Dragonberry on the values of respect and responsibility to her stake holders with the desire to preserve the environment through the spirit of partnership and community.

In 2013, Dragonberry built the first LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) building for produce distribution in Oregon.
Dragonberry continues to drive Amy’s passion for global trade by promoting the domestic export in the Western States to overseas markets and the importing of Vietnam agricultural production. Dragonberry is the largest importers of dragonfruits from Vietnam.

Amanda Bierbrauer – Executive Director

Amanda Bierbrauer is the principal attorney of Bierbrauer Law, LLC, serving Oregon and Washington State in the areas of business, nonprofit and estate planning.

Prior to starting her firm in 2020, Amanda served for over a decade in various leadership roles in higher education, overseeing federal and state grants as well as student services and enrollment. Amanda created and opened the Financial Wellness Center on Portland State University’s campus in 2014, offering students educational resources in the area of personal finance and individualized coaching.

Amanda graduated from Eastern Oregon University with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, she holds a MBA from Marylhurst University and her Juris Doctorate from Lewis & Clark Law School.

Daniel Wong – Vice President and Secretary

Daniel brings over 20 years of progressive leadership experience in business management, supply chain management, information systems, and strategy consulting. His expertise includes analyzing globalization’s impacts, information technology advancements, business management frameworks, and international relations.

Most recently, Daniel served as the Global Category Sourcing Manager at Vestas, where he played a key role in optimizing global transportation procurement strategies. Before that, he was the Vice President of Logistics and Supply Chain Management at North Pacific, a Portland-based wholesale distributor specializing in building materials, industrial wood products, and specialty products, with annual sales exceeding $1.2 billion.

Earlier in his career, Daniel was the Supply Chain Process Improvement Director at Longview Fibre Company in Longview, Washington, where he spearheaded initiatives to enhance operational efficiency. At Sapient, he led the firm’s expansion into Asia, establishing its consulting subsidiary in Tokyo, Japan.

In addition to his professional achievements, Daniel has been actively involved in industry leadership. He served as Treasurer, Board Member, and President of the North American Rail Shippers Association and the CSCMP Portland Roundtable Chapter.  He also served on the board of directors for the Oregon Transfer Company.

Daniel holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Oregon State University and a Master’s in the Management of Science and Technology from OGI/Oregon Health & Science University. He is currently pursuing a doctorate in international relations. His research and dissertation focus on solving the escalating geopolitical tensions between the United States and China and their impact on global supply chain management.

James Nguyen – Treasurer

James Nguyen is the Vice President for Dragonberry Produce, Inc. Currently overseeing the US and Mexico markets with an emphasis on improving vertical integration.

James has served on school boards and community boards with a focus on educational outreach. James is passionate about fundraising for worthy causes and brings an action-oriented approach to service.

Fluent in Vietnamese, James earned a graduate degree in Political Science and Sociology from Portland State University.
